Night trek to Prabhalmachi and Kalavantin Durg with MPA

Image
Kalavantin durg         What started off as an attempt to get rid of my vertigo , soon transformed into love for the terrains . I grew up respecting nature and loving it more and more each time I set out to explore the woods.Having said that I am extra lucky to have a hubby who is equally passionate about travel and exploring new places . This leads me to my latest blog which is being penned down after ages ! A night trek has been on my bucket list for long and I wanted to cross it off asap . So we decided on this particular trek as it seemed enjoyable and we weren't wrong! I LOVED each and every minute of the trek !!!             The trek was flagged off by all the participants meeting up at Panvel station , from wherein we proceeded by private transport to the base of Prabhalmachi village and started our ascent in pitch darkness . The trek leader Swapnil of Mumbai Pune Adventures and the co leader Khilti did a fabulous job of ensuring us safely reaching the midway base

Rajasthan Travel Diaries !! Part 1 covers Pushkar and Ajmer.

Hello all!! After many of my friends enquiring about my trip to Rajasthan , I have made a small attempt to pen down my (not so)recent trip with an intention of helping out others intending to travel to this lovely city! So here is a brief write up ( well, I tried to keep it short!) with respect to the places visited , hotels resided in , random photos thrown in of the places visited along with some Travelling TIPS .  😃 I shall start with the holy town of Pushkar.   Pushkar is a small town bordering the desert of THAR . Set on the banks of Pushkar river, it is known for its holiness and spirituality. One must visit Pushkar and reside there at least for a couple of days to be able to appreciate the beauty of this place ! My husband with the Ghats as a backdrop                             There are plenty of things to do in  Pushkar. 1) Visit the sacred Pushkar river ghat and soak in the vibes . There are 52 ghats ( staircases leading into the water )

MUSIC - My first love ! 😊😊😊😊😊

Theoretically speaking music is the art of expressing ideas and emotions by using the elements of rhythm, melody and sound either vocally or by instruments. But in reality for me, music is my oxygen ! My life! Music is an emotion that encompasses my heart and soul. My day begins and ends with it literally! ( As my hubby snores like a tractor stuck in concrete  - ekdam burrrrrrrrr types ) 😆😆 So try as I might, unless I choose to sleep alone I cannot escape the musical concert of my hubby! Anyway!!! I am digressing from the topic ..So yes, as I was saying music forms an integral part of my life and therefore I thought it is high time I dedicate a separate post to it !             For someone who has recently shifted to a rental place post her wedding with bare minimal essentials, having access to music (thanks to his dongel and my laptop) is sheer bliss! I mean , I literally dance away my troubles listening to Bappida crooning "  Tum humare BETTER  ho...... Hum t
