MUMBAI UNDER SEIGE… It’s been 29.03 hours since the initial terror attack on Mumbai began and yet we can see no signs of the violence abating. Each and every news channel is screaming itself hoarse and repeatedly show casing as to what is transpiring at “THE TAJ”, “THE OBERAI” and the “NARIMAN HOUSE.” My heart goes out to each and every person and their near and dear ones who have been taken hostage or trapped in those buildings after more than a day. The feeling of death lurking around the corner surely is making a day seem like eternity for the hostages. Try hard as one might, one cannot empathize with the family members of those held inside these buildings. Imagine repeatedly being shown ghastly images of various parts of the building set afire, not to mention instances of hand grenades being thrown and to top it all successive shots of firing , fully aware that your loved one is somewhere inside probably battling for his/her life….
