                        As I look back upon the year that has flown( not elapsed, FLOWN!) by, I realise a lot has transpired in these 12 months. In fact it is quite a revelation to me ! The journey has been full of crests and troughs.. I have fallen more than once, but have learnt to pick myself up and move forward..It is said that no educational qualification can teach us things , the way life teaches them. Damn right , I say!            I have learnt that relations do not necessarily mean blood.Sometimes or most of the times, it is friends who are our real family. They are the one's who care about us more than our own kit and kin. The one's who accept you for who you are and love you no matter what ....I have experienced a gamut of emotions which have made me realise that one must never bear out one's soul ,except to the one's we trust exclusively. We often confide our fears,our failures ,our regrets with someone only to be back stabbed later on as they listen ex

Sometimes people define you, make an opinion of you without knowing the ground reality and the reason behind it !!! This is nothing but a Shallow Perception. Do not bother about what others think of you. You are worth much more than what others think of you and much much more than what you think of yourself. Be yourself.  smile emoticon   Never change yourself for the sake of others. Don't change your Originality/ individuality. You cannot please everyone. If you try to do that, you will end up pleasing no one !!!! So, stick to yourself and ride like a Colossus leaving everyone guessing and gaping at your runaway success. You are destined for higher things in life Folks !!!!!

                     A poor life this is , filled with selfies and numerous check in's ,     We make no time for those in despair , including our kin .. No time to spare , or even share a few words of care ,        For those who need our time ,we gift them a solitaire ... No time to soak in the beauty of nature and let ourselves free,        For we are too busy posing and posting , akin to a wannabe.. No time to fathom what one ought to do with one's life,        For we all are preoccupied , in proving ourselves right ; thereby causing others strife... No time to extend a helping hand , but window shopping time aplenty ,        For we all secretly wish to be labelled as a  "cognoscenti"....  No time for our near & dear ones; a joyous conversation heart to heart,        But surprisingly express anguish when they depart ....  No time to compliment our loved ones , but plenty of time for strangers on social sites,      

                       Questioned "money" to "the heart" ,           "It is I who am superior in comparison to thee!            But then why do these thoughts continue haunting me ???           Life is a struggle to many ,while a bed of roses to a select few....           So why is it that they give more priority to u ???           Resources are skewed, so many in dire need ,           Survival itself becomes questionable with so many mouths to feed .           Money is what is required which sadly only a few really acquire ,           So why is it that they give more priority to u ???          It is I who can generate happiness , for I have a worth!!!          Trade me in exchange for amenities and luxuries and lo behold,                           I bring about so much mirth!!!          So why is it that they give more priority to u ??? " It's ego battered , "money" sought for an explanation from "the heart".

                                                    # A SHORT STORY        As she hurried back home ,both hands clutched with gifts and goodies aplenty ;the occasion being her 18th birthday; she happened to catch a glimpse of him..... An impoverished boy, tip toeing and longingly looking up the window pane of a nearby bakery. She stopped briefly and sympathized at the child's predicament.      As the evening progressed, she grew restless. More so when her family threw her a party...As she blew out the 18 lit candles on her cake,all she could see were those pair of eyes -his longing eyes..She wished she had helped him out. So what if she were late to return by a few minutes.Would it have really mattered ?Would her parents have chided her for being a few minutes late on her birthday?Wouldn't it have been a beautiful feeling to have been the reason for someone else's smile ?  she wondered ,as she cut her cake and posed for pictures with her family and friends.    No so

Getting There By Air Nearest airport is Mumbai, 136 kms. By Rail Nearest railhead is Panvel, 85 kms, on Konkan Railway By Road Mumbai - Panvel - Pen - Alibag - Kihim, 136 kms, Alibag - Kihim, 12 kms,  Panvel - Kihim, 85 kms. By Sea THE VIEW OF OUR COASTLINE Nearest port is Mandwa, 4 kms. from Kihim. There is a boat service from Gateway of India to Mandwa, every  half hour. The boats available are AC speed boats with personalized cabin facility and normal non a/c ferries. the ferry charges are Rs 95 (one way) which also includes free coach travel upto Kihim (however, this is never told out aloud). Do try and board this free bus provided,else one has to fork out Rs 275 by hailing a rickshaw or Rs 350 by boarding a tum tum to Kihim beach.      On a cold winter's day I suggest one to take the ferry by 9am from Gateway.It gives a panoramic view of the coastline.One can enjoy the view, breeze, sea gulls and pelican ,watch out for various foreign ships anchored along

             Naye saal ka pehla post! :)            Good morning pretty people ! It being the first weekend of this new year, I have decided to sit about and do nothing the entire day!! ( apart from penning down this blog, because that's how loooooooooong I take to put my thoughts into words! ) ;)          Firstly wishing all of you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!Now that all the brouhaha has subsided,it is back to square one for all of us. (Somethings don't change,do they?? :) ) But then I bet that each one of us would have resolved something , a promise made to oneself or others ... ( But aren't promises meant to be broken,eh ? )   So a few of my New year resolutions are , ( Yes, I make too many resolutions and break equally as many !!!)        But before I cite them , I am thankful ...reallly reallllly thankful to the Lord !!!! He has given me   so much! A sharp mind, a sound body , the ability to think and act and take sound decision ( well ,almost always! :P   ) a wo
