LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE CHINESE BAMBOO TREE !!
Recently I happened to read (a not so recent) article by Rahul Dravid , wherein he spoke about THE CHINESE BAMBOO . Intrigued, I delved deep into the same and read at length about how the Chinese bamboo grows . It is such an amazing allegory which teaches us about Patience , Persistence, Hope , Habits , Growth and Life in general ,that I felt the need to blog about it promptly !! A GIST ON THE CHINESE BAMBOO TREE Like any other plant , the bamboo seeds too require to be nurtured with love and care for their survival and growth. However, unlike other plants they start blooming only from the fifth year ! The first four years solely comprise of one watering it, adding fertilizers and ensuring adequate sunlight. It shows absolutely no signs of growth whatsoever for the first four years and all of a sudden in the fifth year it begins it's exponential growth and by exponential I mean shooting to a height of over 90ft in just six weeks !!!
