UNTITLED It’s the end of my examinations… I can still precisely recollect the atmosphere around me the moment the bell rang today… There were a gamut of emotions on display…. I was a spectator to joyous faces…angry faces…a few satisfied faces …some tired and frustrated faces…some faces crying out in sheer desperation…As I trudged out of my exam hall weary and teary eyed…I admonished myself for not giving my cent percent..After all it was a professional examination and the standards were exceptionally high….But then instantly I felt remorse on a/c of the fact that I had indeed give it my best shot. There was just a thin line between my success & failure… mebbe it was enough..mebbe it wasn’t…. Only time can tell…. As for me ..i am off to Pondicherry for a week upto 19th june to de-stress myself …The past few weeks have been killing and resulted in quite a few grey strands and excess pounds that need to be shed off at the earliest….. In the mean ...

Life has been so damn hectic over the past few weeks that Christmas came as a welcome break for me to do the thing i love the most.... " sleeping" : ) Been a while since i blogged too...got so much to write but hardly any time on my hands.Nevertheless let me begin by wishing u all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Be alert.Party safely and please don't drink and drive..... Colors has come out with a new serial called "Uttaran" that gets aired from Mon-Thurs at 10 pm. The name sounded catchy, so i decided to give it a try.Better than watching some stupid reality show i tell u! Anyways, its been a couple of weeks and i still am following the show. The show's all about a beautiful relationship called "friendship" between a wealthy landlady's daughter and her servant's offspring. The innocence of both the girls is a delight to watch. The sheer warmth that the landlady's child exudes , casting no inhibitions whatsoever to play with ...

MUMBAI UNDER SEIGE… It’s been 29.03 hours since the initial terror attack on Mumbai began and yet we can see no signs of the violence abating. Each and every news channel is screaming itself hoarse and repeatedly show casing as to what is transpiring at “THE TAJ”, “THE OBERAI” and the “NARIMAN HOUSE.” My heart goes out to each and every person and their near and dear ones who have been taken hostage or trapped in those buildings after more than a day. The feeling of death lurking around the corner surely is making a day seem like eternity for the hostages. Try hard as one might, one cannot empathize with the family members of those held inside these buildings. Imagine repeatedly being shown ghastly images of various parts of the building set afire, not to mention instances of hand grenades being thrown and to top it all successive shots of firing , fully aware that your loved one is somewhere inside probably battling for his/her life…. It’s 2.30 am now and all I can do is think of what...

A couple of days back i was in for a rude shock whilst leafing through the pages of the TOI.In bold letters were emblazoned the words.... " Load shedding to be further increased to maintain a balance between the deficit and its demand"..... which made me shudder involuntarily.Already reeling under a five hour power cut i wondered as to how on earth were we; instead of moving ahead and finding alternative measures for generating electricity; actually managing to go back into the yesteryear .... An era in which mankind lived in the dark sans electricity. This lead to me fervently hoping that the govt pulls through on the Trust vote. 22/7/2008 6 .15pm ----- I switch on the news channel hoping that we are through the deal...only to find the parliament in total disarray... not to mention repeated images of some M.P's holding stacked bundles of cash alleging that the UPA has bribed some of the other constituency contemporaries for the trust vote.... By ...

After what seemed like ages I picked up a book and decided to go through the gist to ensure it was eye candy material filled with humour on a sultry Monday afternoon...... I turned to be so very wrong...It so turned out that the book was the very opposite of being Eye candy material yet it was so articulately put...soaked with heartbreaking yet inspiring facets of life that I ended up reading it front to back in a span of three hours.. The book I am talking about is "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini... Does the name ring a bell??? For all you book worms out there i am sure you would have read the best seller "The kite runner" a few years ago penned down by the very same author.. Well I didn't at that juncture and A Thousand Splendid Suns was my first book by the author. What makes this book a compelling read is the way Hosseini pens it...so very soaringly lyrical yet so very devastating and heart wrenching... set on the topography of a poverty strick...
